Our Current Offerings
At Playful Paths, we offer a range of outdoor play-based sessions including baby and parent meets, stay-and-play sessions, and home education groups. We also provide bespoke private events and parties, creating memorable outdoor adventures for every age and occasion.
Stay & Play
Our stay-and-play sessions offer a fun, relaxed space for free outdoor exploration. Build dens, hunt bugs, swing in hammocks, dig in sand, and get creative in the garden kitchen.
Holiday & Seasonal Play
Our holiday and seasonal sessions are a time for children choose their own paths! Make dens, find bugs, play in hammocks, dig for treasure, and cook up fun in the garden.
Home Ed Sessions
Our home education groups support organic learning through playful, nature–based experiences, offering children the freedom to follow their own interests or join in guided activities at their own pace.
Events & Parties
We offer bespoke private events and parties, tailored to children’s interests with play activities and optional refreshments to make each celebration unique and memorable.

At Playful Paths, we offer enriching outdoor play experiences designed to support the learning and development of children through nature-based exploration. Set in a beautiful field and forest setting, playing here encourages curiosity, creativity, and confidence through hands-on activities, free choice, and optional guided discovery.
We believe that play is essential for a child’s growth, and our sessions provide a safe, nurturing environment where children can connect with nature, develop social skills, and build resilience; all while having fun.

While we pride ourselves on being a little patch of wildness, there are some modern comforts on site. There certainly isn't wifi though!
Refreshments Included
All visitors are welcome to help themselves to complimentary snacks and drinks during their visit.
Free Parking
Parking is available on private land, with a sand surface sourced directly from Playful Paths.
Toilets
An eco-friendly compost toilet and baby changing facilities are available for your convenience.
Fresh Water
Fresh running water is available to help you stay clean and hydrated throughout your visit.

We had such a lovely time at Playful Paths!
From the moment we arrived, it was clear how much care and thought had gone into creating such a special space for children.
There was a great variety of activities to keep the children engaged and exploring, and everything felt so thoughtfully put together.
Rose was incredibly kind and welcoming, creating such a warm and relaxed atmosphere. The beautifully made biscuits and cake were a real treat too.
I couldn’t recommend Playful Paths enough, it’s such a treasure for little ones and their families. Thank you

My two year old had the best morning at Playful Paths. There was so much to explore and it is clear how much time and care has gone into it. My daughter was entertained for the full session with her highlights being role-play on the boat and finding lots of rocks to paint. It was easily accessible for me and my 6 month old even with the buggy and the parents were catered for with coffee and a yummy cake, which was a nice treat as so often only the children get a refreshment! We can’t wait to come back soon!

We had such a fun time! My daughter is 9, she absolutely loved excavating in the sand pit, looking for dinosaur bones and gems. There is so much here to keep children entertained (and adults too!) that we could have stayed for hours. The lemon cake was a yummy bonus.
Children just want to explore and play, and this is the perfect safe setting to let them.
