We absolutely love Playful Paths and genuinely look forward to every session we attend. It’s such a thoughtful, enriching and welcoming environment. I bring both my toddler and my 6 month old and there is always something for them both to enjoy.
The setup is incredible with everything from water play, a mud kitchen to baby areas and different themes to explore every week. It feels so wholesome and child-centred with so much care put into creating a meaningful play experience.
The staff are always so friendly, kind and welcoming and every session feels like a lovely little community space. All the children have the freedom to explore and play (& the included drinks and snack are such a lovely touch too 🥰🙌)
Playful Paths is a real credit to the outdoor play community and I honestly couldn’t recommend it more highly. We always leave happy and already excited to come back! 🖤

At Playful Paths, we offer a range of outdoor play-based sessions including baby and parent meets, stay-and-play sessions, and home education groups. We also provide bespoke private events and parties, creating memorable outdoor adventures for every age and occasion.
Stay & Play
Our stay-and-play sessions offer a fun, relaxed space for free outdoor exploration. Build dens, hunt bugs, swing in hammocks, dig in sand, and get creative in the garden kitchen.
Holiday & Seasonal Play
Our holiday and seasonal sessions are a time for children choose their own paths! Make dens, find bugs, play in hammocks, dig for treasure, and cook up fun in the garden.
Home Ed Sessions
Our home education groups support organic learning through playful, nature–based experiences, offering children the freedom to follow their own interests or join in guided activities at their own pace.
Events & Parties
We offer bespoke private events and parties, tailored to children’s interests with play activities and optional refreshments to make each celebration unique and memorable.

While we pride ourselves on being a little patch of wildness, there are some modern comforts on site. There certainly isn't wifi though!
Refreshments Included
All visitors are welcome to help themselves to complimentary snacks and drinks during their visit.
Free Parking
Parking is available on private land, with a sand surface sourced directly from Playful Paths.
Toilets
An eco-friendly compost toilet and baby changing facilities are available for your convenience.
Fresh Water
Fresh running water is available to help you stay clean and hydrated throughout your visit.

My grandson and I had a great session yesterday. He loved it, especially the mud kitchen area and the pirate boat. He had a really fun experience with his friends. We will be visiting again.

Me & my 3 year old have been a handful of times, we have booked on for 3 more sessions. The session we just went to was super busy but was manageable, I love the songs & story at the end. The fact we get a free cupper & biscuit & juice for little one to is a appreciated bonus. Well organised & loads of play areas. Ladies are friendly to. Thumbs 👍 from me & my boy.
